Context

Thermomix® is the all-in-one kitchen machine from Vorwerk, loved by home cooks around the world. We designed and built a custom WooCommerce store for Thermomix South Africa, connected to local services, with payments through PayFast and Float.

The challenge

A global brand still has to sell locally. South African customers expect local pricing, payment methods they know and delivery that reaches them. And a premium appliance needs a store that feels as considered as the machine itself.

Custom WooCommerce

We built from the ground up rather than adapting a theme, so the store follows how Thermomix sells: the machine, what it makes possible, then the decision to buy.

Local integrations

The store connects to local South African services, so orders, delivery and operations run the way the local business does.

Familiar ways to pay

Checkout runs on PayFast for cards, instant EFT and the other ways South Africans already pay, and Float lets customers split a premium machine into interest-free instalments on the card they already have. Both were tested end to end before launch.

Outcome

Thermomix South Africa sells online through its own custom store at southafrica.vorwerk-thermomix.com, with a checkout that makes a premium machine easier to say yes to.
